Vintage 1940's to circa 1950's Die Cut Cardboard Skull Lantern Halloween Candle
These lantern is somewhat rare and circa 1940's Halloween decoration, a die cut paper Skull with Tissue Lantern.
The die cut is a hard cardboard and printed. These would be unfolded to take the shape of a lantern, then a candle would be placed inside. Needless to say I think a lot of these probably went up in flames.
Lantern was made in the USA in the 1940's through the 1950's by the Beistle Company.
Size: 10 inches tall x 5 1/2 inches wide
Condition: used with some wear and marks to the cardboard, but intact. One side has old scotch tape, please see the images for details.
