Wood Carved Carnival figure from the Fontaine Ferry Carnival Amusement Park c. 1950’s

This is a carved wooden head and padded body carnival game. This was used in a game of some sort at the Fontaine Ferry Amusement Park in Louisville Kentucky, which closed in the late 1960’s. The figure is 55” tall and is mounted to a wood block. The estate has done this but has not altered the original state of the piece, just inserted a metal rod into an existing hole at the base of the body. The original mechanism is still intact and the pad on the body looks to be original. The Head is carved has what look to be the original paint. There is some evidence of wear and some nails are exposed on the neck. Please let me know if you need more photos. Please contact me for a shipping quote.
